Membership in the Century Club of San Diego provides a unique opportunity to give your personal time, treasure, and talents to help showcase America’s Finest City on an international platform, while raising funds and awareness to help the heart of our local communities.
The personal and professional connections realized through member-to-member engagement and member-driven community engagement is unmatched. If you have a heart for community, an affinity for social connection, and a passion for ambassadorship of our great city – membership in the Century Club of San Diego might be right for you.
New members are welcomed on an annual basis.
Membership Expectations
- Serve as an Ambassador for the Farmers Insurance Open & the Century Club by:

- Telling our story in the community
- Support our fundraising efforts
- Open doors within your personal and professional networks to support our hospitality sales & our charity partners
- Join a committee to support the organization, community partners or Tournament efforts
- Attend multiple meetings, social outing & community events throughout the year
- Must provide hands on assistance during the Tournament Week
- Pay Member Dues (Dues amount is determined by the Board of Directors each year based on variety of factors)
- Purchase Century Club uniform items (additional cost to the Dues)
Application & Enrollment Process
September – November
- Submit injury to Century Club website
- Director of Member Engagement will conduct initial interviews
- Qualified candidates will meet with New Member Committee
- Selected candidates will also be required to meet with Century Club staff during this time
- Qualified candidates who are approved by the New Member Committee & Century Club staff will be invited to attend formal Century Club events (socials, meetings, charity events)
December
- Following the vetting and review process, Board of Directors will approve Prospective Members
- Note*: not all who apply may not be accepted
January
- Newly approved Prospective Members will be invited to the January Meeting & the upcoming Tournament
Following the Tournament, approved Prospective Members become known as Provisional Members. Individuals will remain a Provisional Member for an entire year to continue the vetting process and ensure this is the correct fit for both the Club & individual. Following the year as a Provisional Member, the Board of Directors will review Provisional Members who are in good standing to final approval to become an Active Member.
Note: Provisional Members are required to pay Dues & follow Member Engagement Requirements to remain in contention.
