2019-2020 Team Contest Overview
Century Club staff will draft all Active (including Board) and Provisional Century Club Members to form four (4) teams, captained by four (4) Century Club Board Members. Each Captain will choose a member of his/her team to serve as Co-Captain. These Captains, Co-Captains, and full team rosters will be announced at the Annual General Meeting.
Every Provisional, Active, and Board member will participate in the WaveMaker Contest (“WaveMaker”). Members will accumulate points by contributing through four engagement categories: New Business Leads (40%); Total Revenue (25%); Attendance (25%); and New Business Accounts of $1500 or Greater (10%).
The total points accumulated in each category as described below will be added, with that cumulative total representing the individual Member’s total points. An average of the total points of each member on a WaveMaker Team will likewise be calculated. The winning WaveMaker Team will be the one with the highest average individual score per team, and will be recognized at the Annual General Meeting.
New Business Leads (40%)
Credit will be awarded for each new qualified lead generated by a Member, and introduced to the Century Club Sales Staff. A lead will be determined as “qualified” only when he/she actively engages in dialogue with a Century Club staff member.
The total number of new leads/introductions made by a Member will then be multiplied by .4 to determine the Member’s total points in this New Business Leads category.
Total Revenue (25%)
Credit will be awarded for the sale of Tournament Inventory, including any combination of hospitality packages, advertising, sponsorship, and Pro-Am spots, which was influenced by the affirmative action (likely an introduction) of a Member.
The total sales attributed to a Member’s introductions will be divided by $10,000, and then multiplied by .25 to determine the Member’s total points in this Total Revenue category.
Credit will be awarded for each Official Century Club meeting or charity/service event at which a Member is present for the entirety of that Official gathering.
The total number of Official Century Club events attended will be multiplied by .25, in order to determine the Member’s total points in this Attendance category.
# New Accounts > $1,500 (10%)
Credit will be awarded for each new Tournament partner introduced by a Member, who spends at least $1,500 across Tournament platforms (hospitality, Pro-Am, sponsorship/advertising).
One point will be awarded for each qualifying account, with that aggregate number then multiplied by .1 to determine the Member’s total points in this New Accounts > $1,500 category.
